An Autonomous Agent Walked the Facet Terminal and Purchased Flowers with Secured Payment Through Boson Escrow
Facet's Terminal already lets an agent pay by card or with USDC directly, and both settle in one shot. This paper
documents a third option: a payment that is provably held, not just paid, until the order is fulfilled. It layers
Boson Protocol's non-custodial escrow above the Terminal and proves the whole loop end to end against a live
merchant, with real USDC, on Base mainnet, including a cancellation the buyer recovers with nothing but their own
signature.

to send money back. This paper specifies the three primitives Facet layered above the spec to close that gap,
why the gap is real and not already closed by an existing scheme, and how the whole loop was proven end to end
on Base mainnet with real USDC.
