Facet (facet.llc), an open agent-commerce protocol, today announced the first proof of a single voice-driven agent completing purchases across two different commerce platforms in one continuous run. A spoken shopping request searched the Facet directory, matched a Shopify merchant and a WooCommerce merchant, and completed a purchase at each. Both orders settled through Boson Protocol's escrow on Base Sepolia ahead of Facet's mainnet launch, with funds released directly to each merchant's own wallet. Facet held neither the funds nor a key to them at any point.
One voice, one directory, two storefronts. The agent's only input was a spoken shopping request. From there, Facet's Universal Business Index matched it to two live merchants on two different platforms: LaRuce Beauty, a Shopify store, and Pecan & Petal, a WooCommerce store. Each merchant's own Facet Terminal returned a landed quote — an Angle Contour brush for 38.58 USDC from LaRuce, a Sunflower and Rose Medley arrangement for 64.20 USDC from Pecan & Petal. The agent never set a price and never touched either merchant's backend; it read what each Terminal published and committed funds against it.
Boson escrow settled both, non-custodially by design. Both orders committed into Boson Protocol's escrow on Base Sepolia. Facet is not a party to the funds at any stage: the buyer's funds move directly into the Boson Diamond contract, and on redemption the contract releases directly to the merchant's own treasury wallet, net of Boson's 0.5% protocol fee. Both exchanges redeemed and settled within a day of commit — 38.3871 USDC landed at LaRuce Beauty's treasury and 63.879 USDC at Pecan & Petal's, together 102.2661 USDC paid directly to two merchants on two different platforms without Facet ever holding a balance.
Verifiable end to end. Every step is on-chain and independently checkable: the commit transactions, the redemption, and the final withdrawal to each merchant's treasury wallet are all recorded on Base Sepolia, with the full transaction trail published at facet.llc/devlog.
